Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care?

This entry is only being written to hide the links and rings page which I added. The link to that page can be found in the older entires page which is titled "First Age".

People tell me that the set-up for my diary is hard to work out. I've got captions for everything, just move your little arrow over to it and wait. As an explanation though, all of the link titles come from The Lord of the Rings. The Third Age is when the book takes place, the First Age is a long time ago (when The Silmarillion took place), so it makes sense to have the First Age as my oldest entires. The Red Book is Bilbo's name for The Hobbit which also included a lot of the Shire's history and geneology: you get to know about Hobbits through The Red Book, you get to know about me through the Profile. Pretty interesting connection, huh? The Shire then is the beginning of the book (back in time) and Mordor is the end of the book (forward in time). Then, on the older page itself, the Noldor are a very old race of Elves, the Woodelves are rather newer. Is this making sense?

Anyway, that's how it works.

From the Shire, down the Anduin, to Mordor
