Harry Potter Goes to Phoenix

I have this to say: the commercialisation of Harry Potter has gone far too far. We all know that Harry isn't the type to let this sort of fame go to his head, but his author ought to know better. Of course, I could be blaming the wrong party- none of this sort of thing was happening until Scholastic got involved. Scholastic shouldn't be allowed to get their hands on people- they were the ones that ruined the Chronicles of Naria (who on earth thought The Magician's Nephew ought to come first?), they're the ones that continue to turn out new books after the deaths of the original authors (Clifford and The Boxcar Children spring to mind), so, perhaps it isn't Rowling's fault.

At any rate, though I am by no means Harry Potter's greatest fan, I think it's time the commercialisation came to a halt- especially if Jelly Belly still refuses to sell Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans all year 'round rather than just when a movie comes out. Commercialise the right things, at least.
