You know, if I'd done anything today, this could've been a potentially interesting entry. Think about all the things I could've written about, I could've been able to say that I read a book that changed my views on life, or I could've received a letter from someone bearing good news.

As it is, the interest can only lie in those things which I have not done today. Think of everything potentially interesting and exciting you have ever considered, pretend I didn't do it today. Now you know what my day was like.
