On the right track?

I finally got the advisor hold taken off this morning so I could register for classes. It was supposed to be off four days ago, but the advisor didn't do it the right way. As it stands, I'm actually in two classes. I'm on waiting lists for two other classes, and trying to get on waiting lists for two other classes so that perhaps I might be able to have some THEATRE classes. Well, it goes without saying that I'm pissed.

I could've got into some classes if they'd taken that damned hold off at the right time. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do to say, "hey, this isn't my problem, fix it and make it right" other than what I've done already.

Of course, if I actually get in to all those classes that I'm trying to get into, I'll have 19 hours. But, if I don't get in to any of them, I'll have seven. Does this give you a hint as to how dire the situation is?

I wish Cedar Falls had a transportation system. I think I need to get to the bank, probably safest if I did get to the bank, and it's murderously cold. At the moment, it's 20 F (that's about -9 C) and this morning it was 5 F. That's a bit cold to drag out the old bike, wouldn't you say? However, I'm a bit desperate because I might need the money. So, I'm looking to see if there's any way that buses go anyplace in this fair city so I can stop freezing my butt off any time I want to go someplace.

My Psychology experiment was cancelled. Maybe that'll happen for the one this evening too so I can go audition for Slaughter City, or maybe Janie will let me show up late. I'll have to ask her.
