It's been a quiet week in Lake Woebegon.

"Very very Garrison Keiller. A fun simple pleasant folkiness we don't hear very often"

"This young ladie is one hell of a writer and had better not stop coming"

Those are the comments I got from No Shame about Walt's Outhouse. The next one's on October 4th, and I do plan on going if I can get anything written. The problem is that it's all mostly humour writing, which is harder to write.

Maybe I can cut some bits from my story and use them.

Last night I attempted to work out the bus system of this fair city. Ha ha ha. It only works closer to the centre of town, and UNI being firmly on the southern edge... Yes. So, instead I searched out a map to the bike trails of this fair city.

Today it is my plan to go off in search of the centre of Cedar Falls, and then buy CDs and, if they're cheap enough, DVD's.

So now I'm listening to The Beatles and considering the benefits of taking a shower now vs. tonight. I think I'll go for tonight.
